Russian Ministry of Health will reward winners of the all-Russian contest in Sochi

The National Best Public–Private Healthcare Project contest committee met at the Russian Ministry of Health. The contest is held annually since 2015 with the aim of facilitating successful interaction between the public and private healthcare sectors.

Organizational issues dominated discussion along with the contest’s primary goals, which are to attract private capital for the development of healthcare infrastructure and improve the efficiency of related public administration.

78 applications for participation in the contest were submitted from 56 regions of Russia in 2018. They will compete in the following categories:

– best public–private partnership healthcare infrastructure project;

– best private medical organization participating in the implementation of a territorial programme for free guaranteed state medical care to citizens in the following categories:

primary healthcare;

specialized healthcare, including high-tech medical care;

– best private organization providing medical service outsourcing;

– best constituent entity of the Russian Federation in terms of the development of public–private healthcare interaction.

The results of the competition and the names of the winners will be announced at the Healthy Life Forum: Towards 80+, which is to be held on 13 February 2019, on the opening day of the Russian Investment Forum.
