An industrial park in Ulan-Ude that opened this year has begun implementing investment projects valued at roughly RUB 1.7 billion.

The industrial park has commissioned a major textile production facility. Workshops for the production of light industry products have already been set up, yarn and carpets are next in line, and a production line has been launched for the advanced processing of wool and the production of dyed wool yarn. “There are plans to expand production and install wool washing equipment”, Republic of Buryatia Governor Alexey Tsydenov said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
