Healthy Life Forum Business Programme Published
The business
programme for the Healthy Life Forum has been published on the event’s official website. The Forum, which
will take place on 12 February 2020 on the first day of the Russian Investment
Forum in Sochi, will be held under the motto ‘Sustainable Development Goals
2020’.
“In his Address to
the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need to
develop healthcare and identified as priorities the modernization of primary
care, training and attracting personnel, increasing the availability of medical
education, and changing wages. The Forum is a platform for building expert
dialogue aimed at finding optimal solutions for fulfilling the tasks set by the
President”, Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.
The Forum business
programme will host discussions on the fight against diabetes and
cardiovascular, oncological, and other socially significant diseases. The focus
will be on issues surrounding financing healthcare in the regions, the
demographic outlook, modern technologies, and innovative solutions in
healthcare.
“The development of a
health system aimed at increasing healthy life expectancy is a vital to the
development of the state and a determining factor in the well-being of the
population. The healthcare industry is undergoing major changes today,
additional funding is being allocated for projects such as a general programme
for mandatory health insurance and national projects in the regions and at the
federal level. The business agenda of the Healthy Life Forum this year covers general
issues facing the industry; the future of healthcare in our country depends on
their resolution”, Chairperson of the Russian Federal Compulsory Medical
Insurance Fund Natalia Stadchenko said.
The intellectual
partner of the Healthy Life Forum is the Content Foundation for the Development
of Expert and Analytical Activities.

In 2019, The Healthy
Life Forum was attended by 3,000 people and included foreign delegations from
21 countries.
